HVAC Daily is opening applications for an executive council: a working group of HVAC contractors and business owners built to compare real notes on the pressures actually reshaping the trade right now, the A2L refrigerant transition, a technician pipeline that isn't keeping pace with demand, and a wave of AI tools that range from genuinely useful to expensive noise.

Most operators are working through these questions in isolation, learning what actually holds up in the field through their own trial and error. A structured group of owners comparing notes directly, rather than each rediscovering the same lessons independently, should surface better answers faster than any one shop working alone.

This is a launch, not a filled roster. Nobody is a member today. Applications open now, and our editorial team reviews each one and follows up directly with the operators we invite in. Members may be asked for a quote, a short interview, or a write-up for future coverage, credited to them and their business.

The bar for applying is real: a minimum of $1 million in annual revenue, since this is meant for operators running an established shop, not an early-stage one. Past that, what matters most is a willingness to say plainly what's actually working on the floor and what's marketing. Apply through the council page if that describes your shop.
